Fork & Bottle 2012

Where-O-where have I been? Swallowed up by event planning, and never to be seen again. . .  Yes, it’s food and wine related. No, you are not suprised. Ironically, I’ve been so busy the last few weeks that I scarely have the time to cook, eat, drink, or sleep (in order of importance). Makes for a grouchy version of me, to be honest, and so I am definitely looking forward to the big event.

Should you be in the Colorado Springs area this weekend, plan to be at Colorado Springs Fork & Bottle on Saturday, April 14th at 7:00 pm! It’s a community food and wine event to benefit Ruth Washburn Cooperative Nursery School.

The event is located in The Colorado Springs School this year (think: mini-Versailles), and it’s all about trying great food from local restaurants and caterers, sampling wines from all over the world provided by Sovereignty Wines (and their knowledgeable reps), enjoying live music by Deke & Joyce Polifka, and supporting a great cause just by showing up and having a good time. You will certainly find me there, wine glass in hand and a plate full of delicious food. And yes, I will be smiling! For lots more juicy tidbits, check out the Fork & Bottle blog, and buy your tickets online. Hope to see you soon. Cheers!
